You can choose from the following operating systems:

  • CentOS 5 (x86_64)
  • CentOS 6 (x86_64)
  • Debian 6.0 (x86_64)
  • Ubuntu 12.04 (x86_64)
  • Ubuntu 14.04 (x86_64)
  • Debian 7.0 (x86_64)
  • Debian 8.0 (x86_64)
  • Scientific Linux 6 (x86_64)

If you have not yet subscribed to Cloud VPS from Cloudmatika, you can purchase the service through our website.

How to Change the Operating System on Your VPS

Follow these steps to replace the operating system on your VPS:

  1. Log in to your Cloudmatika account at:
    https://cloudmatika.com
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. Ensure that your active subscription is associated with the Cloud VPS service you wish to manage.
  4. Click the VPS tab.
  5. Under the Maintenance menu, click Recreate Server.
  6. Select the operating system you would like to install and enter a password for the new operating system.
  7. After selecting your preferred operating system, click Destroy and Create New Server.
  8. Wait for the provisioning process to complete. Once the VPS status changes to Running, your new operating system has been successfully installed.

Important Note

Recreating a server will completely remove the existing operating system and all data stored on the VPS. Please ensure that you have backed up any important data before proceeding with this action.
