How easy is it to back up to the cloud?

On the same occasion, I also had a chance to chat with Ted Hilbert, CEO of Cloudmatika, a local startup that provides cloud backup solutions for workstations (computers) or servers and is one of Acronis’ partners. I was curious just how simple and easy it is to perform a backup with Acronis.

Ted then asked me to visit Cloudmatika’s CloudBackup website to try out the company’s backup service for myself. Coincidentally, Cloudmatika does offer a 14-day free trial so customers can try it out before deciding to subscribe.

Just for your information, Cloudmatika’s monthly rates start at Rp400,000 per month, or Rp4.3 million per year, for 200 GB of backup capacity. Uniquely, Cloudmatika displays a promo code on its site, allowing customers to get a 50 percent discount forever.

Ted didn’t provide any instructions, other than the CloudBackup URL and information about the free trial.
