Software Requirements for Cloud Backup Compatibility
Web Browsers
The Cloud Backup Portal web interface natively supports the following web browsers:
- Google Chrome: Version 29 or newer
- Mozilla Firefox: Version 23 or newer
- Opera: Version 16 or newer
- Windows Internet Explorer: Version 10 or newer
- Safari: Version 5.1.7 or newer (restricted to OS X or iOS operating systems)
Important Note: If you use an unsupported browser (including Safari running on non-OS X or non-iOS operating systems), you may experience anomalies in the user interface, such as hidden functions or elements failing to operate correctly.

- Windows XP Professional SP2+ (x86, x64)
- Windows Server 2003/2003 R2 – Standard and Enterprise editions (x86, x64)
- Windows Small Business Server 2003/2003 R2
- Windows Vista – All editions
- Windows Server 2008 – Standard, Enterprise, Datacenter, and Web editions (x86, x64)
- Windows Small Business Server 2008
- Windows 7 – All editions
- Windows Server 2008 R2 – Standard, Enterprise, Datacenter, Foundation, and Web editions

Prerequisite Note: Prior to running the agent installer on Linux distributions that lack a native RPM Package Manager (such as Ubuntu), you must manually deploy it. For example, execute: sudo apt-get install rpm

- OS X Mountain Lion 10.8
- OS X Mavericks 10.9
- OS X Yosemite 10.10
- OS X El Capitan 10.11
Backup Agent for VMware
The backup agent is provisioned as a Windows application that can run on any Windows operating system EXCEPT for the following builds:
- 32-bit operating systems are not supported.
- Windows XP, Windows Server 2003/2003 R2, and Windows Small Business Server 2003/2003 R2 are not supported.
Supported Hypervisors:
- VMware ESXi 4.1, 5.0, 5.1, 5.5, and 6.0
