However, you can easily replace it with another operating system from the available templates listed below.<\/p><h2><b>Available Operating Systems<\/b><\/h2><p>You can choose from the following operating systems:<\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\">CentOS 5 (x86_64)<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">CentOS 6 (x86_64)<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Debian 6.0 (x86_64)<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Ubuntu 12.04 (x86_64)<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Ubuntu 14.04 (x86_64)<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Debian 7.0 (x86_64)<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Debian 8.0 (x86_64)<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Scientific Linux 6 (x86_64)<\/li><\/ul><p>If you have not yet subscribed to Cloud VPS from Cloudmatika, you can purchase the service through our website.<\/p><h2><b>How to Change the Operating System on Your VPS<\/b><\/h2><p>Follow these steps to replace the operating system on your VPS:<\/p><ol><li aria-level=\"1\">Log in to your Cloudmatika account at:<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/cloudmatika.com\/\"><b>https:\/\/cloudmatika.com<\/b><\/a><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Enter your <b>username<\/b> and <b>password<\/b>.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Ensure that your active subscription is associated with the Cloud VPS service you wish to manage.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Click the <b>VPS<\/b> tab.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Under the <b>Maintenance<\/b> menu, click <b>Recreate Server<\/b>.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Select the operating system you would like to install and enter a password for the new operating system.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">After selecting your preferred operating system, click <b>Destroy and Create New Server<\/b>.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Wait for the provisioning process to complete. Once the VPS status changes to <b>Running<\/b>, your new operating system has been successfully installed.<\/li><\/ol><h2><b>Important Note<\/b><\/h2><p>Recreating a server will completely remove the existing operating system and all data stored on the VPS.
